the storm rolls in slow
like an unpleasant red wave
suffocating anyone who crosses its way
lightening strikes home
rumbling throughout
just as the hands shake
i black out
the wind blinds her eyes
thankful she can’t see
whats coming to the leaves
for the rain is brutal
its drowning the sea
something to know?
the storm is in me
