Help me improve PB's navigation in Site Updates

Hey everyone,
I love this time of year. The weather’s starting to get chilly, and pumpkin flavored everything has taken over (if you’re in north america ;) ). If you have any suggestions for Mochi sweaters, do let me know.
I’m excited to introduce a friend of mine that I’ve brought on board to help me out with some research work. Her name is PJ, and she’s an aspiring UX researcher. I’ve been mentoring her for the last six months, and she’s excited to meet all of you and work on the site.
I’ll let her introduce herself:
Hi Everybody! I’m PJ (or Pajamas, to suit these cozy autumn evenings), and I’m a mentee of Josh and Mochi. They’ve been teaching me about UX research for the past six months and of all the endeavors that Josh has introduced me to, Prosebox is the one that really struck a chord with me. One of the reasons that I want to do what Josh does is that his work helps people, and Prosebox is the epitome of that. The other reason is that I think it will bring me closer to getting a pup of my own. Either a shiba inu or a pug, I think.
You seem like a wonderful community and I can’t wait to be a part of it.

So, the exercise we’re going to have you do is called “card sorting”. You’ll be taking a list of items (in this case navigation links in the menu) and grouping them in a way that makes sense to you. After that, you’ll give each group a name and that will be the name of the dropdown. That’s it! Just a heads up, though – it unfortunately will only work on a computer since you need to drag and drop.
After a week, we’ll take a look at the results and hopefully have a solid way forward. We’ll also be running a second survey to verify these results shortly after.
We’re both excited to see what comes out of this research – the navigation is something I’ve wanted to work on since I took over the site. Can’t wait to see what you all come up with!

I gotta just ramble into the wind a moment. But Runescape released a bank rework today, and I've spent most of my day organizing my bank in an MMORPG, losing my mind.
I came here and it's "organize the drop down menu" and I...twitched a little bit.
But I did it! It's organization day for everyone!

Interestingly enough, a couple days ago my neighbor (who works for Gartner) and I were discussing UX design and how helpful sorting exercises can be in the process. I should tell him that participation rates would go up if they also included a pic of Mochi at the end. :D
And PJ, what you need to get is a mantis shrimp. I mean yeah, you have to have a specially made tank that's a foot thick to keep them from shattering the glass, but you'll be the only person at the party WHO HAS A MANTIS SHRIMP.

I started doing it on my phone but then saw what you said about the pc - however I was on the iPad later and I was able to do it no problem on there :)

New person here. I love most things about this place, especially the whole entries vs books and all that to keep your stuff in order, but as for navigation issues, I only see one area so far that I'm not really liking: The comment area, I always find myself hitting the "Comments" button the top right, then "comments received" and from there you have to find out where the new comments are.. maybe I'm just not used to this layout or anything but i don't see it being very navigational friendly for new people like me (started today). I don't understand how I can't just see the new comments only so I don't have to sift through anything or where they replied to my reply and stuff like that. again maybe I'm just not used to it and it's all just new to me, but from a new person perspective, that's all I have. I love everything else :)

Is there a way to make it so the banner about getting a subscription doesn't pop up if you've already purchased one? It's not a major issue but sometimes an annoyance. Thanks for all you've done!
