Happy St. Patrick's Day (Eve) everyone. Tomorrow I will have a 4 month old, and I CANNOT believe that!
We had a busy weekend this weekend. Friday night after work I had an appointment with my counselor. Sal and Piper came with me because, Im not sure if I have written in here, but we are a one car family for the time being. His transmission went a couple of weeks ago and we are working on saving the several thousand dollars to fix it. Sal hung in the car during my appt and Piper came in for her typical marathon nursing session. After that we stopped at the grocery store, came home and ate dinner, and hung out for a short bit before bed. Saturday I got up and drove Sal to work. We came home and I made the cocktail meatballs and veggies and dip for Lily's birthday party. I showered and got ready and wrapped Lil's presents and we headed to Lily's party around 1. We ended up hanging out there until about 9 and then went to get Sal at work. We got home around 10:30 and I fed Piper and was in bed around 11:30. Today I was supposed to go to the parade with my friend Melissa and her baby Jacob, who is 9 days younger than Piper. We decided that the 15 degree wind chill was too cold for the babes so we went to lunch instead. Prior to that Pipes and I went to visit a family that I used to babysit for. They love her! After that I went home to get Sal and we went to Heather and Jamie's for our annual St. Patrick's Day dinner. We got home around 8 and I gave Piper a bath, fed her, and put her to sleep. Now I am hanging out. Going to bed soon! And, tomorrow I have an appt with the kidney doctor and Piper has her 4 month check up and shots :'( More tears for Mommy at the Dr. office.
In life updates: My Mom is healing well from her surgery. She had her 5th round of chemo this week, one left and then fingers crossed that she is done, healthy, and all that jazz! She is really exhausted and feeling kinda gross, which is typical the weekend right after chemo. She is so strong and has a great attitude. Piper and I are headed there next weekend to visit! Sooo excited!
In Piper updates: She is the sweetest pea in the entire world. I love spending time with her and wish I could be with her all the time. She has not rolled over any more. She did it a few times when she first learned but hasnt done it since. She absolutely hates tummy time. She is giggling a lot and such a fun baby to be around. She has been sleeping about 5-6 nights a week from about 9pm-6:15 or so Am. Thats a great stretch and I am totally fine with it. So. Much. Love. In other news, when is it time to be pregnant again?
