Whoa. You guys. I just got into a fight with Brown Nosey over something fairly trivial, but it’s a control issue that she has, and I’m unhappy with her - so I was telling Boss about it. He then took me aside into a conference room and told me that he’s firing her today. He wants me to “gather the troops” later this afternoon and bring them into a conference room to tell her team that she’s gone. It’s killing me to hold this information all day, so I’m spilling here for now. More later, I’m sure.

UPDATE: She saw me leaving the conference room and came over to my desk and asked me what it was all about. She said I had a horrible look of concern on my face. I had to lie and tell her it was because I’m trying to use a new source from a new country (because of tariff issues) and having trouble with complications and worried about my line…which is TRUE!! But I felt like shit saying it.
Later, she left a meeting and came back to my desk and told me that Boss has been texting her about a meeting at 11:30…she then asked, “What’s going on??!!”
Guys, she rarely comes to visit me and knows I’m pissed at her anyway for being a bitch.
THEN! She says, “Maybe I’m getting fired!”
I just looked at her like, nooooooo....
What the eff!
UPDATE 2: The deed is done. It was swift, she’s gone, and an email about her being gone and not filling that position has gone out.
The thing I’m curious about now is the probable back-lash regarding The Side Hustle. She was the whistle-blower. I wonder if she’ll try to sue? I wonder if she’ll rope me into it if she does?
I feel sick to my stomach.
