I really do believe a person does not come into this world just to work for mininum wage and die. I believe people have hopes dreams and goals. A passion that never truely dies but is ignored due to fear and ignorance. Late at night my spirit was calling my name I just cannot sleep. It demands happiness and freedom but the logical side says don’t take a risk your paycheck is here! I hate when my mind battles itself for the love of God let me sleep!
The brakes are still not fixed on my truck. I got $20 till payday. My mom keeps demanding me to get a real job at the hospital because she works there and it has a $5000 sign on bonus. I keep telling her i won’t work there just because she feels that the best. What about my happiness?.. Moms answer? “I can tolerate a lot of things for enough money.” Jesus mom.. I tolerate more for someone i love. I am used to being poor! A sign up bonus isnt worth my mom’s nagging. Mom give me a damn break! I will work anywhere except where she works. I avoid ARH mom has to many connections. I will go to any hospital but that one! I like Joann Crafts but between me and Talan we dont make enough.
Right now as i write in this diary Coal the cat is chasing his son Ash around wrestling happily.. Who know Coal fooling around with Harley would make his best friend Ash? I am proud to say 3 out of 4 is fixed! We are waiting till Ash is old enough to neuter him too.
Hopefully i will sleep. Mom wants to go yardsaling in the morning. Night

Why would you not work there? Is it because your mom works there, or is it because she won't stop hounding you about working there? Is it a good job? Is it a terrible job? It probably pays well and has benefits for you and your family. Is it big enough of a hospital that you would not see your mom every five minutes? I mean, she has a job to do as well. Is pride in some way standing in your way? How would your world change for the better if you took a job at the hospital? I don't really need an answer to these questions, because it's none of my business. However, they might be things for you to think about before you keep saying no.

Can you not get a job at the hospital that is not in the same unit where your mother works and a different shift and/or hours she works? It seems to me if it pays well and has benefits you could really benefit. Rather than working retail with uncertain hours. A good paying job that has steady hours is something that you really need.
