Mu is recovering nicely, although not as vocal as usual. Poor guy. We have to pill and medicate him twice a day, and the vet had to remove yet another tooth. I feel terrible, but also he's seventeen years old, and getting frail. I just bless every day that I get to have him with me.
The news on CNN today is chilling. It's looking as though Russia will invade Ukraine, and that's not good. God only knows what will happen next.
Very nearly finished with The Honourable Schoolboy by John le Carre. Very dry in spots, but still a good read. I do want to get it finished today.\
I did finish watching the first season of House of Cards. Damn, but it's good. Not for children or the younger set as there's a lot of double dealing, sex, some violence, drug use and profanity. But Kevin Spacey is very good in it.
It is very cold up here on the Hudson today, the sun is shining and it looks warm, but then I see the thermometer and shudder. I am so ready for spring to come in, and colour. It has been very bleak and grey and dull this winter.
