Instead I started in on season two of House of Cards, and OMG, what an opening! I won't say what happens, but it was a shocker. I can see why this series is getting plenty of acclaim -- and rightly so. It's gutsy, and pushes the envelope quite a bit in terms of storylines. Not for the sensitive.
Started reading The Tudors by G.J. Meyer. I do wish that the author had spent more time on Henry VII, but he's in such hellfire hurry to get to Henry VIII that I felt rather cheated. Elizabeth of York gets about three sentences, which is a pity. But the background bits are worth reading, if only for the information that it gives.
I purposely stayed away from the news today, I don't want to get obsessed over the Russia-Ukraine mess. I do that, especially with CNN.
I do have to say that trying to get Mu pilled and medicated is like trying to wrestle a weasel without using your hands.
