This is my first entry here on Prosebox. I don't even know if anyone will read this. I'm from Open Diary (I was Beautiful Mama there as well) for those who care or for those who read me over there. I'm trying to adjust to the layout here at Prosebox. It's all quite different than what I'm used to. :\
I guess I'll do a short intro entry and maybe write more another time. My name is Tonja. I'm 33 years young. My husband's name is James and we have been married for 15 years. We started dating when I was 17 years old. I have loved this man for almost half my life. We have one child. Her name is Shelby and she just turned 10 in January. She is the love of our lives. She's a ball of fire and spunk. She is amazing in every way possible.
I work full time as an assistant manager for Payless. I work a lot and I'm still trying to find that balance with work & home. I was a stay at home mom & wife until Shelby was in the 3rd grade so going back to work was a huge adjustment for all of us. I've been with Payless for a little over a year now. It's funny because the tables have turned a little because now James does the stay at home duties. He served eight years in the Marine Corps and was medically retired last year. He is now in school and does the stay at home thing. It's been quite the adjustment for him as well. We are learning together how to make this new environment work for the three of us. The important thing is that we are sticking together & making it work the best that we can.
Well, that's about all I have for now. I'm going to attempt to write more as I get comfortable with the layout and whatnot. Hoping to find more of my OD writers around. :)
