I was tempted to name my diary here “Digital Expressions” but after thinking about that for a minute it just didn’t seem appropriate.
More than 17 years ago I founded Digital Expressions and yesterday finally closed the site. It hurt and I still don’t feel right. But I know it was the right choice.
In less than 24 hours a number of DE’s members have already migrated here, and will eventually import their diaries from DE, once the functionality is available. I have some work to do on my end to support that.
This site does seem like the best alternative and I am very happy that folks have decided to migrate here. I was hesitant to recommend one, wanting the community to make their own decision. I’m happy at the choice.
for those who migrate here, I would love to keep in touch. I am not sure if I will continue writing.... I am not sure I want to continue writing, at least for now. But I do want to read.
