GREY in Postcards 4

The sky is a varied grey. The trunks and branches of the trees surrounding us are much the same color. The news stations show us that a rain storm is heading our way. They don’t’ give us any more detail as their doppler’s cover us with the rain of green.
Marta is here today, and we all are hiding. First we pick up and tidy for our housekeeper, then we do our best to keep out of her way. We shut the doors, and watch the wind whipping the leaves and branches around ahead of the oncoming storm. The windows are easily covered with little hashtags of rain.

OH it is so gray. I am trying to be thankful for the water, but am so craving some sunshine and warmth. Have my garden crew out there working in the wet.

Love the photo. I've watched a couple seasons of Longmire but never read any of the novels. I imagine they would be good.

Beautiful as colored photos can be, black & white (well, gray!) seems to say more... love this one!

It is gray here too and we are working up to a stormy weekend , which I dislike . Storms make me anxious 😦.
I need a housekeeper and a lawn crew !
