Sometimes I wish I could leave reviews on Tinder. Lately, my reviews would read something like:
“Fine line between confidence and arrogance, and (Cal, Nathan, Evan, whoever…) will completely smear those lines by repeatedly talking about how much money he makes, how he ‘doesn’t have to work full time’ - but rather ‘chooses to’, and how he has a start-up on the side.
Then he’ll suggest grabbing coffee at 4pm instead of getting dinner later, where he’ll slowly reach for his wallet, and look very relieved when I suggest we split the check.”
