Today, my boy and I
Set out on a ride
Through the rainy
Country side
In hopes of seeing ponies
And ducks
And the Amish.
Then to Grandma’s
To make her fried chicken-
The way that she’s feeling,
She could use some attention.
I fed the scrappies to her pug,
And had fun with my son.
God is greater than my past,
My gratitude has foundation to last…
A lifetime!
