A Taste of Spring... in Me..me...me...

It is beautiful today. The temperature is warm, the grass is greening up, spring bulbs are reaching upwards. The sky is a rich blue and not a cloud in sight.

I have my Harley sitting out in the sun, the bike sparkling like a diamond as I have just finished polishing and waxing it. I have cleaned and wiped down Debbie's bike as well.

I am planning on going for a ride in a bit, not sure if she will tag along or not. I need to ride. I have not ridden since New Years Eve.

A boring health note. I have a ringing in my right ear. It is some what better as yesterday when I spoke I felt I sounded like I was in a barrel and I must have been speaking softer as Debbie asked me to repeat myself several times. I have no idea whats going on, but its buggy as hell.

Also my stomach feels off and I am a bit shakey. Of course all I have had this morning is a couple of mugs of coffee, may need to eat a bit since I have taken my meds.

Worked my bumm off yesterday getting things finally stored away till next Christmas. We left some things up till we could Skype with a friend in England, as we wnated to show off our tree and the train to him. We had wanted to leave everything up till he arrives in 2 months, but it was getting overbearing to have all the trappings of Christmas up. Then once I got the storage boxes out it seemed to take forever to get things packed away. I spent the day getting it all packed back into the storage closet.

Last evening we went to a Big Game Dinner at a Church. It was a good time, but I did notice my stomach issues started after eating there. A lot of the food was heavily, I mean HEAVILY smoked. I think that is what got to me. The message preached was good and lots of fun and the music was great! Over all I had a good time, but this is the Church where I found I really do not care for an organized religion. I have found God and peace and have accepted Jesus as my Saviour. I wote a long winded tiraid about this over at O.D., so I will not revisit it here.

Getting stoked about heading back home for a Bike Fest, I hope this in not for naught. I plan on renting a trailer to tow my Harley and Deb's bike. I have been saving money to pay for Mag to stay at the kennel at the Vet. Usually the pup is the reason we do not go on trips, unless it is a cruise. But I figure if I have the cash on hand for the kennel bill, there should be no reason not to go. I also ahve to save the cash funds for the trailer rental. I hate to be a wuss, but I just cannot see spending the day in the saddle for a weekend and then another day back home. My back and legs would be shot! I am already having issues with my back since I got the bike. Siatica sucks! I take anti inflamatories, muscle relaxers and pain killers for the break thru pain. But give up the bike? Hell no! Just give me meds to keep me on it!

All for now, shower time and then off for adventure!
