I'm slowly adjusting to the fact that i could very well be working soon.

Talking it over with a few friends. Even some comments here, have me uplifted. I handed in my resume last week to my friend (did i say that already?) so i should be hearing from him soon. Today, tomorrow... We'll see.

I even went as far as to go online looking at clothes. Once i have money i will update my wardrobe with some new pieces that make me FEEL GOOD. I still want to lose 40 lbs, but the 30 that i'm down since having Liam has me feeling decent. My jeans are big. I need some new casual but nice tops. I can't afford ANYTHING right now, but it's nice to at least look. Imagine what style i'll wear when i CAN afford it. ;)

Liam's birthday party is this coming weekend. We can't make a big deal out of it, i'll be baking the cakes, etc. I'll post pictures (if i can ever figure out how to post pictures in these entries).

I got my doula business cards and my training books i ordered. I was so mad i didn't even open them. I know that 1) i can't afford to sign up for the training yet, and 2) with starting work, there just won't be time for it. But i'm confident it WILL be something i WILL do. Once i'm settled in a schedule at work, i WILL sign up for the training. And once you sign up and pay, the time it takes is UNLIMITED. so i can do it in 3 months or 3 years, however long it takes me.

We officially started our first day of homeschooling preschool today. We sat at the kitchen table and did at least 30 minutes. Our first week is focused on A, with lots of different related activities. Plus we'll spend one day on "fruits." I have printouts on the computer, workbooks, a video on the ipad, etc. Plus i cleared the dining room table and lots of space to sit there and work on projects, crafts, and stuff related to what we'll be focusing on that week. Joshua had a lot of fun and really loved the stuff we did today. We even did a scissor activity. Then after that he had an hour with his speech therapist. He liked it so much, in fact, that he keeps dragging me back to the dining room to sit at the table and work instead of playing with toys, tv, etc.

My friend gave me info for a local co-op that's doing signups right now, and i REALLY want to sign the kids up. It's one day a week -- Tuesdays. There are 5 periods (classes) at an art center plus a lunch period. You pay $60 for the semester, and then any tuition fees for individual classes -- but all the little kid classes are tuition free. So we'd have to just pay the $60. There are volunteer teachers and they really have a full day of "school" or classes. But, we don't have the $60 right now. Also, if i start working, i don't want to pay for it and then not be able to go. So, we won't sign up for this semester. But maybe next?

Joshua is pulling at me to go watch Yo Gabba... So i'll finish this later. :p
