I work in a retail store, so always out in the public. when working with the public, you have to look nice. well you don’t HAVE too, but I feel like you should. And not to sound conceded but I think I’m a pretty girl, and find it very flattering when men hit on me. But this one guy. This guy is in my store at least once a week, with his wife and sometimes kids. They are regulars.
I dont know if dude finally had the guts to say something to me one day he finally asked me… “Why dont you smile?” sooo thrown off by the comment, I was like “Im sorry?” then he continues to say “you should smile more, it would look good on you” I just told him I was tired and ready to go home. but deep down I was PISSED
I SHOULD SMILE MORE?!
FUCK YOU MY DUDE.

A week later, the guy and his wife come in shopping again. He wanted to see some watches we have in a case, I help him, showing different ones. (this is where he gets creepy) He starts telling me how beautiful I am. But he would say it kinda weird like, “you know you’re beautiful right?” In my mind I am like, your wife is like 30 feet away, what are you doing?! THEN continues to ask me if I am single.
My guy. Why does it matter!? once again, YOUR WIFE IS RIGHT THERE!
I told him no, and that I had a boyfriend. he says “what a shame”
WHAT DO YOU MEAN ‘WHAT A SHAME’!?!?!?! what are you going to do if I was single?! as your wife is RIGHT THERE. this guy had no chill. Finally got to escape.

A week after that, him, his wife, and daughter (who I am probably closer to age than I am to him! If I had to guess, he’s probably 45-50.) but anyways, I was on my lunch break, I took my name badge off to shop and not be bothered by customers. I see him stalking me around the store. He finally came up to me “HI ----” He remembered my name!! officially weirded out, i said hi, and went to the break room to hide. I know it could be worse but it is still creepy to me.

I guess we will see what this week brings. I’ve told my managers about this, so they are aware of the situation.
