Chasing after lost shadows pretending to write off wrongs, someone please tell me this won’t last forever, tell me I’ll wake up and this will be gone. Just a part of a nightmare, scream if you can see me if you aren’t afraid of the darkness in my soul.
I’m no angel, just an outcast I’m just broken can’t you see I want to fly too, stuck in this hell I can barely move a lone survivor no one cares about, forever the broken one.
Caught beneath the tidal waves someone pull me out tell me this won’t last forever, this is my last breath. Can’t you see it doesn’t have to end this way
Trying to find myself at the bottom of this underworld, clawing my way into the light desperate to reach the heaven everyone talks about. I’m just the broken one
