Just another day in Chaos

Valentine’s day.

Such a silly holiday. I know this but deep down I’m still disappointed.

I’ve never truly celebrated Valentine’s day beyond celebrating it with my kids.

I’ve never gone on a romantic date, been given flowers. I guess I’ve never been worth the effort. This year i thought might be different. This year I have someone in my life who seems to care about me.

This year hasn’t been any different. This shouldn’t bother me because it’s just a dumb silly day but it bothers me.

It bothers me a lot and I hate myself for it.
