No Etiquette in Never Be Neighbors With A Sibling

So My wife, son, and myself finally decided to move into a huge two unit house, above my brother. My dad bought this house for my brother who went through a really shitty divorce. He moved into our moms house because he didn’t even have a pot to piss in.
So I had the thought “Why should my dad have to foot the bill of a whole mortgage alone?” I figured that I could help the cause. Turns out the last eight months have been a miserable wreck of a decision.
My brother has never lived in an apartment. Though, I did not think of that prior to moving in. I’ve lived next to drug dealers, junkies, mental patients, and my brother takes the cake on annoying.
