  • I’m loving my job at HLC. I work with a few kids on the regular and I’m enjoying getting to know them. They are kids between K-3rd grade and I think I’m really connecting with them. One of my students has recently moved to a lot of on grade level work and it was exciting to celebrate with her. She’s so sweet. Definitely a good choice for me.
  • I started working out on Tuesday, the 19th. I signed up to be a member with BeachBody, which is basically a MLM for fitness. I like it because they have an app for the Amazon Fire Stick so I can just turn it on in the small bedroom and work out at home. I want to eventually make it down to the gym for some legit cardio but I like that I am able to do these BB workouts with minimal equipment.
  • I’m 48 days no anti-anxiety or depression meds. This is my longest time in 10 years that I’ve gone without medication for these issues. I am using a hormone replacement cream, sleeping pills, and something to combat my hirsutism but those meds are things I can easily stop taking/using.
  • I am currently suffering through a sinus infection but I started antibiotics today so I think that it’ll clear up shortly.
  • I start shadowing with the tech team at church on Sunday. I’m so excited to start this chapter with The Local Church (thelocalchurch.com). It’s truly become a home for me and I am eager to meet some of the longer attending members. Maybe I’ll even join a women’s group.
  • I’ve read 8 books so far this month, though Goodreads total is 7, as I don’t count re-reads.
  • My grandma asked me for my opinion on Bible stuff, which is so funny to me, because no one ever asks my opinion on Bible things. Sometimes my Jewish friend (yes I think I only have like two of them) will ask me dogmatic questions, much like I do to her, but never my opinion. Gram wanted to know if I preferred the Beatitudes as written in Matthew or Luke. I have to admit, I like the way they sound in Matthew, very flowy, but they are more comprehensible as written by Luke.
  • We’re finally going to register my car in Florida tomorrow. I am excited but also sad to lose my NH plate. I hope I can get my ECCL 7-8 on my tags here in FL.

I guess that’s all, bullets were easier for my sick brain to work with. I’m reading, but haven’t been noting. I will get better at that.
