I had a teacher that used to say: "Excuses are useless" and a lot of people use their anxiety etc... as a crutch and as an excuse to hide. It feeds their weakness because as you well know, strength is difficult and those that people consider strong, like myself... and that may be all things considering, but I don't feel strong. I feel extraordinarily weak, but that's part of it... living through that weakness so that another day may be stronger. There's never a moment of comfort when dealing with chronic illness.

Same. People freak out when I cry or when I have a rough day.
I get the whole You will Be ok", then they turn things into themselves and talk away.
