Single Awareness Day in Talk Story

Celebrating "Single Awareness Day" here on the southern coast of Oregon...
I offer up two snippets of information:
The first is that this is the 155th anniversary of my adoptive state...
The second is to wish you a Hau'oli la Aloha (Happy love day in Hawaiian)...! (smiles)
The Hawaiian language doesn't have a word for Valentine... so we just go with "aloha"...

you know, when this day comes around, i just do my best to ignore it. it's not a real day to celebrate for me. never did celebrate it even when raymond was alive. it's just a day made up to sell cards, chocolate and jewelry and perfume. take care,
