Aloha...

It has been raining for days... and days... and days (nights too)... sometimes as much as 3-4 inches in 24 hours... and while it is not particularly cold (temperature is 50f)... there is a lot of water out there...

I decided to drive into town at noon... lunch at McDonalds with the guys... and then stopped at Fred Meyer to restock the larder... home now watching a DVD on t/v...

Tonight I am walking over to a neighbors... for our monthly card game of "hands and feet"... and while we need the rain (to combat a potential drought)... I am beginning to get "cabin fever"...

Okay... enough complaining... as when I look at CNN and see what is going on back east... I should (and am) grateful for the weather here on the southern coast of Oregon...

Aloha oe...

Considering that the calculation is usually an inch of rain equals 10 inches of snow (or some such number), you are getting off easy. Good luck drying off...

Yes... I believe you are correct... and yet... it sure seems wet outside...! (smiles)

Strange weather this year. Nice here on the Front Range though.

i feel like i've been cleaning snow off my car and my sidewalk for days on end. i get them cleared off and then i have to do it again the very next day. i'm so tired of winter. enjoy your rain... it's better than snow. take cre,

It has been a weird winter...

You're allowed to complain! :) anything that keeps you inside that long is definitely complaint worthy. At least with the snow and/or ice we were able to get out and play. You can't do that with that much rain.

Yep, I envy your 50 degrees right now. Here in Philly, we've been slammed with snow. If I wanted this much snow and cold, I wouldn't have moved out of Minnesota!

snow on the ground here, but it is suppose to be in the 70's next week...

I never get cabin fever... what I'd like to do is stay home more often! hubs has that 'go' gene... oh well! have a great weekend!

:) don't worry Jim, summers' on it's way to you, ... we've been using it and it's been very nice - BUT extremely warm!! Emmi

Snowbanks on the driveway are almost 5 feet high now and another dump is on the way today! On a positive note they made a skating rink on the path through the woods. Someone got an old gamboni and groomed the path into a lovely ice "river" lined with Tiki torches. You can skate through the woods in the night with the torches burning and the moon overhead - awesome!

We're looking at more snow tomorrow. Ski places are happy, the rest of us? Notsomuch.
