Religous fanaticism or just plain dumbasses in From the mouth of madness

What in the hell is going on in our country??? Have people gone off the deep end or do they just think they are holier than thou??? As some of you may or may not know, the governor of Arizona vetoed a bill that would allow business owners to refuse to service gays on the grounds that they found gays to be against their religion. The state of Tennessee is currently looking at a bill following the same lines as Arizonas and their bill is called the Turn The Gays Away bill and if passed it would allow all businesses to refuse to sale or provide services to gays. I'm not gay and I have nothing against those that are. I could care less what a persons sexual preference is or their race or religion. To each their own and live and let live is what I say. Like a lot of us, I know some people that are gay and have even done business with them and for the most part, the ones that I know are cool as hell and they would give the shirt off their back if it would help someone out and they wouldn't even think twice about it. What a person does in the privacy of their own home is their business only and no one elses. The thought of even attempting to pass an anti-gay law is unconstitutional because we are guaranteed the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The powers that be and religious zealots are treading a slippery slope if they continue down the path they are on and could very well cause history to repeat itself. Need I remind you of Hitler and the Jews??? It would be the same thing but only in our country this time. If Arizona would have and if Tennessee does pass the bill, the same people that businesses could deny goods and or services to could just be the same person that could save their life meaning they could possibly need an emergency life saving operation and the only doctor around that could do it is gay. That same gay doctor could refuse to operate citing that treating that person is against his or her religious beliefs. It seems as if people are only seeing only one side of the coin and not the other and it could come back to bite everyone in the ass so becareful for what you wish for cause you just might get it. On another note, their is a movie heading to theatres titled The Son Of God and it is a sequel to a mini series that aired on tv called The Bible, both are Roma Downey projects. In both movies the same guy plays the role of Satan. As in the Bible, Satan has his part BUTTTTTTTT, in the Son Of God movie, all the Satan scenes were deleted simply because, now get this, the actor looks like President Obama and nobody wanted to offend him. Roma Downey has said that she was delighted that the Satan scenes were deleted because she doesn't like the devil. Geesh. Why not just rewrite the Bible to suit everyones ideals??? I find it sad as to what we are becoming and that's just my opinion. And who am I? I am nobody.
