NJM18 - 22: ThxGvng in These Foolish Things

I’m Thankful, yes I am.

But I don’t really have it in me to really write about it right now. Abbreviated version:

I’m at my parents’ place and I’m spending the night here so that I can get up early, do some Black Friday research (part of work) and then celebrate my niece’s 3rd birthday (which is tomorrow). Then I’ll drive back home so I can get some stuff ready for my date (for lack of a better term…meet and greet?) at Perry’s place.

Tired. It’s been a long day.

Did a 5am workout and then the Turkey Trot then ran to store for last-minute stuff then here for two Turkey Day dinners.

I’m tired. We drank a little wine. My brother got hammered (didn’t know but he was drinking rum after we ran out of wine). I think he’s already in bed.

SIL is sweet, though I think she may still struggle with living here without seeing her family for so long. We are watching Chinese cartoons as I type this out. My niece is mesmerized.

I’m sleepy. I will write more later.
