Another long day at the salt mines. Started this morning at 8:30 when I got called into a two-hour meeting by surprise because Boss forgot to add me to the invite list. I don’t know how that happens - and it is SUPER annoying. And it just started the day…kind of off-kilter.
But I decided to let that slide off my back. And the day seemed to get a bit better. Eventually, it was fine. Can’t really tell you anything exciting about today…wish I could.
But I’m home now…fed, dog walked, talked with potential date, and now ready for bed. Tomorrow will come early again.
And yes, I did say potential date.
A former colleague is trying to set me up with this guy she works with and…well, who knows. But he did call me so we could actually SPEAK to each other, so there’s that. And we talked for about 15 minutes. Only a couple of awkward pauses, but he sounds…interesting.
We’ll see where that one goes.’
Meanwhile, not a whole lot from The Scot today. He wished me a good morning and we exchanged a few sweet texts throughout the day…but STILL no flight confirmation. It’s November 15th, y’all.
And yes, I realize that New Year’s Eve is still a good 6 weeks away, but SHIT.
I just wish I had some exciting news to share. Perhaps tomorrow??
