A wind driven rain in Talk Story

Aloha...

On Monday I drove two friends down to Arcata/Eureka (California)... one of them needed to go to the pain clinic for a shot in her back... some rain... lots of fog... and driving home in the dark was a bit of a challenge for me...

Yesterday I had to drive back down to Crescent City (also in California) for tests at the hospital... just light rain...

Today was another trip to Crescent City... strong winds... heavy rain...

Rain... rain... rain... and more rain... thus ends the drought (I hope)... as we have rain in the forecast for at least the next seven days...

When I got back to town... I decided to treat myself to sushi for lunch... and by the time I was finished... so were my thoughts about driving in the wind and the rain...

I'm home now... no walking on the beach today (smiles)...

Aloha oe...

I think I would rather have rain then snow. LOL I just hate how gloomy it is when it rains. If it could just be sunny and rainy I'd be happy.

When I lived on the island... it would be raining mauka (towards the mountain) and sunny makai (towards the ocean)... and the drops of rain would be blown towards where I lived on the beach... sorta what you were talking about...! (smiles)

that's a lot of days in a row for it to rain. don't know that i would like that very much. i get bothered when i don't see the sun at least 4 days out of 7. i hope it's not the flooding kind of rain. take care,

Of 3 diaries I have read tonight yours is the 3rd that has mentioned back pain and medication for it. I hope you are well. x

we have so much snow piled up that if it rained anytime soon there would be horrible flooding, hope the thaw will be more gradual

I have snowbanks 4 feet high in my driveway. In my view, rain is preferable. Its the drawbacks of living in a cold climate - but I can't legitimately complain since my ancestry is from Norway, another cold climate. Really this should come "naturally" to me....brrrrr....
