So Terry told me to journal about who I am. To be honest, I’m not sure at all where to start. What I look like seems like a good place to start. First, I have light blue eyes. I also have brown hair down to under my breasts with two natural blond streaks, one on either side in the front, which I wear parted on the right side so my almost-hair length bangs are on the left. I used to wear my hair on the right because my right eye was weaker than my left eye, but my sight seems to have gotten better in recent years. Anyway, I’m also 5‘4 with a slight overbite. I have what has been described as a button nose, and decently full lips.
As for my clothes, I tend to wear a lot of neutral colors such as black, white, and grey, but have recently thrown more red into the mix. Don’t get me wrong, I wear other colors too, but I seem to have acquired several red clothing articles. I usually wear tennis shoes, the current ones I wear on a regular basis are made of memory foam and from Target. However, I have been wearing memory foam flip-flops from Target lately. I carry a black nylon mini backpack from The Container Store.
Today I am wearing maroon sweatpants that say “Gryffindor” up the left thigh in gold lettering with the lion crest above it. I am also wearing Gryffinfor underwear. My bra is a grey lace bralette. On top of that I am wearing a white ribbed tank top. On the top layer I am wearing an off-white shirt (short sleeve T-shirt) that says in all black caps, “BUT FIRST, COFFEE” and is embellished with fake coffee stains. I wore the memory foam flip-flops and black backpack.
I guess something else I can describe about myself are my hobbies. Currently, I highly enjoy instant photography. I bought an instant camera on my trip to visit [my best friend H] in Utah. As I wrote the other day, I am so into it now that I want a better camera. I just think it would be super cool to have square film, editing options, and printing options that are usually not available for instant film.
Other things I do for fun, but wouldn’t consider hobbies are smoke weed, browse Reddit, and watch Netflix. Sometimes I write for fun, but I haven’t been doing as much of that as I used to since being in college.
The next and last part about myself that I will describe (tonight) is where I grew up and currently live.
I was born in Fort Worth and adopted by [my parents] from Dallas. In 8th grade I was sent to a wilderness camp in North Carolina called SUWS of the Carolinas. I was there for 2 1/2 months then sent to Utah to attend Alpine Academy. I lived there for 15 months and then moved back home to Dallas. I lived in Dallas with my parents until I was 19, when I moved out due to believing there was either a zombie or a dark spirit in the attic. The entrance was on the ceiling of my closet and caused my intense paranoia.
Anyway, after I moved out of my parents’ house, I lived with [friend G] for 1 day ad then moved in with [ex]. After I lived with [ex S] for almost a year, I lived in the Budget Suites of America in Farmer’s Branch. After that, I was sent to Utah again, but [went] back to Dallas again after 5 months. After that I lived with [ex C]. 2017 started off with me living with [friend J]. After I was kicked out of his house, I lived with [friend M] in a trailer on his parents’ property. After that I lived in a shitty boarding home, which resulted in a hospitalization that eventually led me to Colorado Recovery in Boulder.
