Hello everyone reading my name is Lindsey. I’m 32, one child, living by ourselves. I volunteer around my city but do not work due to medical problems. I wish I could start working again but this is the life I have to live. I’m not suppose to be volunteering either but I have enough time that instead of wasting it I’d rather give back. My dark secret is that no one knows that I live off of $50.00 a month. Some days i’m in disbelief how i’m still going or how I can live like this but being arounds others makes me appreciate what I do have. If you’re not interested in reading anymore I understand, a stranger on a site complaining about being poor get old quickly, I know, but I’m here getting my story out. I know there are people like me (or even worse off) out there screaming for help just as loud with no one to hear them. As much as I try to keep up the appearance that everything is okay and we are fine, this is not the lifestyle you would ever want to go through.
At the end of every entry I will link my url if anyone is interested in donating and a different url every entry to someone else’s page if you want to donate to them as well or if you want to share the link. I don’t want this journal to sound like i’m begging for money or to come across as so, I’m just putting my story out and hope someone hears me one day.
