Anyone have any advice how to break in a pair of steel toe boots? I just got hired for a security job at a coal mine. It is required to wear steel toe boots. I have never wore a pair that wasnt a torture device! They rub, cause blisters sores make the feet even bleed! I have been crying regreting this job because of the footwear! I am so desperate i would try almost anything.. Sad think been thinking quitting this job going back to retail at least there i can pick my damn shoes!

Between training for this job, food, road tolls, paying for training certificates and required work shoes Talan and i have spent ourselves broke! After i bought the boots i cried. $50 till payday not enough money to pay gas to work when they get background check and eventually call me in to work.

Total hours to drive is 2 hours and 40 minutes both says plus 12 hour shifts! I told Talan i dont think i can afford to work this much. He suggested me paying for hotel on days i work wont listen when i tell him that is most of my damn paycheck!

I was hopeful getting a job now grieving! I got a damn job i can’t afford! How can anyone do this shit? Talan keeps pushing me to keep this damn job.

Consider we work for the same damn company we are both going to know exhaustion. I am already crying from harassment Talan keeps screaming i voz to keep this job. I am afraid exhaustion will ve the death of me!

Any advice? How can people work so much without exhaustion?
