I am thankful for how far our recently rescued dog has come, physically and behaviourally.
I am thankful that the smoke enveloping the city will eventually blow out.
I am thankful for my peeps, you know you guys rock!!!
I am thankful for the waning days of summer.
I am thankful for a bountiful garden, I have photos to share later, I have a bazillion tomatoes about to ripen.
I am thankful for friends who come to visit, even if it’s for two whole weeks, lol.
I am thankful for how much my lungs seemed to have healed this past year, woohoo!!!
I am thankful our upcoming mountain Thanksgiving trip.
I am thankful for all the firefighters and emergency workers who are out there fighting the fires and helping the people in danger from the fires, both in British Columbia and in California, you are true heroes.
And I am thankful for you!!!

I just saw Edmonton on the news...you guys have crazy smoke! I can smell the smoke here. I've closed the windows for now. Two weeks is a long visit if things are crowded. How is Will doing these days?

I am so glad your lungs have healed a lot this year too!! What is the smoke from? Have there been wildfires near you? :oO

thank you, the smoke is from the forest fires in British Columbia, they are really bad again this year, they are the province just to the west of us here in Alberta and the winds just blow the smoke out to the prairies, we woke up to another bad morning here, but hopefully the worst of it will clear out by the evening,

The smoke is horrible, we have some here but nothing like you got except for a day or so.
I went into the greenhouse that the unwelcome guests at my Dad and Brother's had put in this spring and once I got through the weeds was so pleased to find tomatoes ripening. I'll get round to wading through the weeds in the little garden part to see what I can find later. I just ate 2 of the tomatoes and they are sooo good, nothing like a store bought one. Yay!!
