A Prayer for Benevolence

i stitched silk gloves for the hands of fate
as an offering
yea you say
we coulda moved the furniture
thru the walls
but i lacked faith

(i am the sofa)

i know now, i see how
the universe provides
more couches in houses
that long to be outside

(holy, holy, holy)

when i learn to break free
i swear
i will take them all with me

(a love seat)

destiny
is Greek
for opportunity
(translated loosely)
i think, i am
i choose, i become

holy, holy, holy
i believe, I Believe

i am the couch
push me thru the walls
send me out of your house
i am the sofa, a love seat

holy, holy, holy
believe me, Believe Me

i will slip through the grip of the silk fist of fate
i will slide past the palm of the glove gift i made
i will transcend time to deliver the present, from now until now became irrelevant,
and i will elevate my consciousness beyond the bonds of space
i will vibrate my particles until i become waves
i will orchestrate my destiny as energy in harmony
holy, holy, holy
i am the sofa, a love seat

i will trespass the chaos of possibility
down the hallways of forever’s infinity

if faith is the key
let desire be my door
i long to be moved
i want nothing more
I Believe, Believe Me
holy, holy, holy

i will recline in the sun some day
i am the sofa, a love seat

It was written I should be loyal to the nightmare of my choice.

In the beginning, there was a big bang
There were six hours of creation on the first day,
On the first day we made love
We saw the love and it was good
On the seventh hour, we rested

hallelujah, holy bliss

Holy bliss, and me and you
In the beginning, we made love
We saw the love and it was good.
