Okay cuties, I’m over at OD under Mama Blue, but I don’t think I’ll bother. I went back a few times, looked around, and wasn’t overly impressed.

I wish you all a wonderful life filled with happiness. I’ll miss this place. The vibe was less combative than OD and has people I can relate to.

I haven't written much, things are so-so here but we finally saw the counselor together last night and I really need to stop asking Jeff if he is sincere in trying and let our therapist guide those sessions but it is really hard because of Jeff's moods. Jeff did finally make an appointment to see about going on an anti-depressant, if he takes them that remains to be seen tho. Bill would like him to give it a trial run. Bill believes Jeff has suffered from depression for so long that it colored everything that happened the last few years--my cancer, knees, my parents dying as well as Jeff's dad. I hope it helps and that Jeff can get balanced. Jeff admits that for a long time we did have a great relationship and marriage. Hopefully he will see that again. Thanks for being my friend.

So sorry you're not going to be writing on OD - will miss reading you if this place does go down - I'm really hoping it can be saved though as there seems to be a few folk (with the skills) willing to try!

One of my readers here that I have known from the Grief site in 2000 loved the OD and just went poof here. Deleted her PB and jumped ship back to the OD. Such a bummer! We have been connected for so long. For that reason alone I am 1% tempted to go back to the OD if in name only just to have contact with her. (Although I go have her email and home address).

I see online journaling communities as fluid entities: they come and go, just as the people I converse with. I keep a separate list of contacts so if a site closes, I can still reach out to those who want to keep in touch. I kept my Mama Blue OD journal because it is a lifetime subscription. It doesn't hurt to keep it, but I'm just not into the place anymore.

Yeah it is nice that you put your Email on here. I recall my readers doing that on the OD before it went down. I signed on here 2 days ago and there was a Note from my Mom. "When were you going to tell me Prosebox was going bust?" I responded, "Prosebox is going bust? News to me". Funny that she must think I sign on every day.. I don't. Maybe a few times a month. And I don't often go to the front page, so I had no idea. Now it seems it is not going bust, but should it I guess I am done. Everything for a season. Although I do have a name over at WordPress, maybe 1 entry.

Oh, tell Slowpoke hello for me! Yes, I think if PB goes down, it'll probably be the end for me, as well. I have findingflorida.org at wordpress but find it a difficult site and have updated in ages.
