I met this boy when I was 14. I went over to my brothers friends house to pick up something and was urged out of the car by several people I didn’t know. My brothers friend wanted to show me around his new band area he had set up. One of his “band members” was obnoxiously loud and avoiding saying hi to me, yet drawing alot of attention to himself.

Fast forward to 3-4 days later and I have a friend request on Facebook from obnoxious boy, we’ll call him Andrew. He sent me messages asking if I remember him and tried to strike up conversation with me frequently until we had developed enough of a friendship to start hanging out.

From the start of us hanging out, I knew I liked him alot and wanted to be with him. He made me laugh and he was awkward and polite. I went to one or two of his bands shows and eventually he slipped me a letter. In the corniest way possible, quoting his favorite bands and making silly puns, he asked me to go steady. Even now I laugh at how silly and immature we started.
