The other place. It’s back. I never properly settled here, so I’ve revived my account over there. I’m sorry, I have a feeling this will annoy some people, and I’ll probably have to double up, but I’m glad it’s back. All the bloody notes have gone, but some of my original friends are still there, and that’s great. If I can post pictures there, which is something I’ve never managed here, then it’ll be a sad sayonara from me. I can’t have a diary with no pictures.

That sounds off to me. There's no reason it shouldn't work. Are you sure you use the DIRECT link and not the IMAGE link? Because if you use any other type of link besides direct it won't work.

I doubt I'll ever return to OD--too many trust issues Bruce!--but the new fella running the show here, Josh, did ask everyone what they wanted out of this site, and A LOT of folks said an easier way to add pictures. So something might happen on that front (although the when is a bit foggy at the moment.)

It was a little hairy there for a week or so, but the new fella seems on the ball, and to have the site's best interests at heart, so fingers crossed we're all here for the long haul.

Well, it would appear I missed all the drama and nothing changed. My ex-husband used to have a 'do nothing' policy for times when everyone was panicking. Generally, his theory was that things would work out one way or the other and he would just sit back and wait for that to happen, whilst changing little to nothing himself. It seems I accidentally adopted his policy and look at that, here I am and everything (except for the site manager) is the same). :-)

I’m told it’s much easier to post photos over on OD so you may like it better but the general consensus of opinion seems to be that it’s just not the same now and certainly doesn’t run as well as here. Either way at least now you have a choice!
