Really sums it up. Broke through to the back of old pool's pump house and making it into a store room. Had to hire a huge cango "jack hammer for US friends' hole made and now i cant gind a galvanised door to fit the hole.....so tomorrow Luis, my neighbour and builder, will make the entrance a little wider.
Boot sale down in Javea south of here was great on sunday....had a nice lunch by the sea. Bought 3 kilos of red grapefruit and made some jam yesterday....really tasty.
Tomorrow my friend wants me to cut her hair....... and probably have to go and buy the door from local merchants after.
Been really windy today, drives me nuts!......hanging the washing out and it blowing to kingdom come......no, i dont use dryers as i love the fresh air smell on laundry....plus it saves on electric.
Still no rain fall to speak of, my friends well is running dry!!!....it serves a few houses around her. Its a shared well.....Many wells in the area have already dried up, its getting serious. Thank god i am on mains water, expensive but i know i can use the taps without worry.....although i also have a pozo, water holder thats full of water!!
My ex.sister inlaw in australia is coming over in September and we are planning another trip to north spain, calling in Sansebastion as shes pestering me to go there.....i hope i can make it, End September is usually quiet and free of guests by then. We had such a laugh last year.
I did'nt think i would get a holiday this year but maybe i will after all. Would like to go to Belgiam or Germany for xmas shopping too...yes i know its a long way off but i have to plan......
