Lately.... in My life in a nutshell

Well, I finally found a job that me and the hubby could agree on me working because I leave after him and come home shortly after him. I love it I have been there for almost 4 months now. I work at a daycare and I swear to you I really didn’t think I would like it like I do. I really believe that this is where I am suppose to be at in life; working with kids. I am so in love with my job that the week flies by. Today one of the kids in my class showed up this morning with his mom like always lol and brought me a Christmas present. She asked me to wait until she left to open it so I did. It was a very pretty teal colored planner, a nice coffee cup that says you were born to do this and a $50 Target gift card! I wanted to cry. lol. Mind you now the kids in my class are between 1 and 2. I went to go give the little boy a hug who’s mother this wonderful gift came from with tears in my eyes and he said. ” Ashey ok?” I told him yes baby Mrs.Ashley is ok. And he smiled and hugged me and than ran away. Made my day and turns out today was the best day this week so far. Today was just great.

Me and my husband take our 1 year wedding anniversary trip in 34 days (if I counted right lol) on January 11 thru the 22. So so so very excited to be out of Louisiana for 11 days! Even though it is only Mississippi still we will be several hours away and it will be just us. No dog, no lizards and no chinchilla! lol. I love my pets dearly don’t get me wrong but I get so exhausted sometimes with their maintenance. My mom is going to watch 2 of 3 lizards and the chinchilla. My mother in law is going to watch our dog because he hates my moms dogs. And lastly a friend is going to watch the other lizard. Reason one person isn’t getting all of the lizards is because 2 are leopard geckos and the other is a bearded dragon. 2 totally different set ups and care instructions and don’t want to leave too much on one person.

Me and my husband have been trying for the last year to get pregnant with no luck… :/ We have tried alot of things and nothing seems to be working for us. At least not yet… I even went to the extent of going to the dr and getting clomid and provera (think thats how you spell it). The provera is suppose to jump start your period and the clomid is suppose to make you ovulate. Out of the 5 months I was on it, I only ovulated twice. So that was a waste of $40+ a month… We are both getting frustrated and have no idea what to do next.. I go back to the ob in January. Hopefully she can get me on a new medicine to help this process. We are so ready to have a child of our own.. Although something good that is coming of this is that I have started to closely watch my sugar intake and have lost at least 20 to 35 pounds and have built up a great deal of muscle since we got married in January. One dr I have been seeing said keep doing what I am doing and start a more aggressive exercise plan and when I start losing more weight and keeping it off it will help with me getting pregnant. I am almost to the point to where I just want to give up and not worry about it but my heart breaks because I have many friends and family members that are pregnant or have several children of their own. I love all my nieces and nephews do not get me wrong but I would love for nothing more than to have my own little one running around for me to spoil. We have names and everything picked out and it’s discouraging when you try and try and try and nothing happens and yet someone that doesn’t want kids is popping them out like bubble gum out of a machine… I am very envious of women who have no problems getting pregnant and wish and pray like hell that it would just happen for us already.

I have gone out and bought my husband everything he has asked for and than some lol. Bought him 3 different games for his ps4, several t-shirts he has been wanting, a football shotglass, his years subscription to playstation live, this big ole Groot bobble head, a Darth Vader POP figurine and a giant blueberry Star Wars candy cane with Darth Vader stickers.. lol. And he has gone out and bought me the only thing I asked for this year which is the laptop I am on right now typing this entry. Now that I have this and not just my phone I can write more often… It is a load easier for me to type an entry on here than it is on my phone because when I am on a computer my fingers flow and I don’t have to look at the keyboard to type because of all the years I took typing in school lol. I have received many awards for my typing. I am pretty fast at it. I am so in love with my new laptop. It is a pretty blue color and very sleek and OMG I just love it hahaha.
