I can’t take it.

My Heart begins to ache

Then begins to break.

The many months of agony;

The tears run down my face.

It all ended so fast,

That my heart already began to build it’s cast.

By time you were gone,

I had realized I made a big mistake.

I regret the fact I said I hate you,

I regret the fact I lied,

I regret the fact I said I did not care,

I regret the fact I said I would not be there.

Why did I have to say those words?

Why’d I have to lie?

Why’d I say I did not care?

And why did I say I would not be there?

The truth is—–I LOVE YOU,

The truth is—–I AM/WAS SCARED,

The truth is—–I DID MORE THAN CARE,

The truth is—–I WAS!
