Leaving Binghamton 6/17/2003
I have my second organic chemistry test tomorrow, and who knows how I'll do. I studied like all crazy hell for the last one and only got a C+.
We're having our Roadrunner installed in our apartment today so I'll not have to run to campus to use the computer any more, hopefully.
I'll be going home in ten days, thank God...Binghamton is even more depressing in the summer. It's humid, cloudy and rainy all the time.
Last weekend sucked. My friends and I went to a bar where I was virtually ignored by every guy and basically just felt like crap. Hanging out with Corinne and Smarties was awesome except for the fact that every guy I encountered acted like an ass.
My camp counselor job starts on Monday. Being at work from 8:30-4:30 every day five days a week with screaming rich kids is definitely going to suck but the salary more than makes up for it.
The one thing I'm really looking forward to is volunteering at Stonybrook Hospital again. Royce, my boss from last year at the child psychiatric ward never returned my phone calls for some reason, which is really dick of him. He told me at the end of last summer that I did a good job, and when I spoke to him about coming back for this summer, he had OK'd it. But whatever, I'll be working in the Pediatric Ward, which I'm definitely looking forward to. i have an interview for that on Sunday, two days after I get back. Soc technically, if you figure it out, I have twelve days of summer vacation...
