Pipes on my trailer are froze. We put a heater underneath the trailer there to try to raise the temperature. Still not even a trinkle. We turned off the hot water tank to try to stop the hot water tank from burning up. I am debating whether the pipes under the ground is frozen because of dirt in the toilet. I talk to dad he told me i am screwed! Gee thanks dad.

It is -4 outside tonight. Tomorrow it is supposed to go to 30 degrees. I am hoping the water will thaw enough to see how much damage has been done to the lines. I am terrified what i need to repair.

Talan has been lashing about me constantly checking heater underneath trailer. I fear trailer could set on fire. He used almost all our drinking water to flush the toilet instead listening to me when i said melt snow outside to flush the toilet. I rather save drinking water for more important things.

I havent seen my friend Mandy in over a year. She lives 4 hours away.. Talan chased her off saying she isnt welcome at my mobile home. Her feeling were hurt i got in her car she took me up road so i could get breakfast after that she left saying Talan won. I bawled Talan saying deed for mobile home in my name. He needs to learn his place. She is my friend. He angry over lies her ex told Talan he fell for it. Dewayne Amanda ex husband said she beat old man bounced checks. I asked Talan shouldnt he hear both sides of story before judging. He appologized over phone Amanda refused to come back. Talan watch tv i cried because i have no water and no friends.

I asked dad how to fix problems with the pipes. Dad was to busy telling me i am not allowed to have children or get married. He wanted to boss my life instead help my figure out how to fix my lines. Mom and dad lectured me about the perfect military man who told them he didnt want to date. They still persisted saying i need to get away from “that bastard Talan” i catch hell no matter where i go.

I tried to have dad help me fix the Water figure out how to turn off water from coming in house dad wanted to lecture. He gave sparce details not considering i have no idea how to do the repairs. I need a book to help my figure it out because apparently dad is no help.

I never had frozen pipes before. I dont know…help!

Sounds like you need more insulation under the trailer and around the pipes. Probably not much you can do about it now and will have to wait for it to warm up. One thing I have heard many times is to let your faucets run water at a trickle when it gets this cold.

Honestly, your parents are no help to you. You are an adult and making your own decisions. Rather than have them not be supportive just don't even ask them for help. Do you have a Home Depot or Lowe's somewhere close by? I would go there and find someone to talk to about the pipe situation. Or what about a neighbor who is also living in a mobile home? Perhaps a neighbor has already solved the problem of pipes potentially freezing.

You are an adult. It is none of your father's business who you marry or how many kids you have. It seems like a lot of issues/problems you deal with are because of your father. I know it's probably a difficult decision but I think you need to think of cutting him loose in the sense that you don't ask for help from him.

Good luck with the pipes. Let us know how it turns out.

You could also try heat tape. You can have it run the length of your pipes under the trailer or wrap it around like stripes on a candy cane. Do your research or have someone show you. I’m not 100% how to do it. I’ve just known people who have. You then plug it in and it heats the pipes so they don’t freeze. That is sad that your Dad can’t be more supportive. I’m sorry. 🙁

You can get heat tape at Home Depot or Menard’s, whatever you have there. Walmart might even have it.
