At Least the Cats Don't Mind in Everyday Ramblings

11AM Sunday morning. What I thought remarkable about this was that whoever was sleeping in the closest doorway was sleeping under one of those super soft synthetic blankets but this one had Eifel Tower designs all over it.

I took this picture just after church.

While at church we had a lively visiting performer who sang the fun and uplifting song below that I had not heard before. I know nothing really about singing but I don’t think this is an easy song to sing.

People who can sing get my deepest respect. It is such a magical art in that it comes directly from the body. I was watching some clips of the premiere of Hamilton in London and was thinking about how talented these young folks are. And how much I admire the gifts they share with us.

Even though I can’t carry a tune, I still sing when I am happy.

And I am happy to now have a new song to butcher in the privacy of my own home.
The cats don’t mind…at least not too much.

Beautiful singing, thanks for sharing, so uplifting. I so want to see Hamilton, but dang the tickets are pricey.

Me, too! Nary a tune and yet I love music.

I sang a lot when I was young in public in a trio and then a chorus but now I sing mostly in my car when I am alone or sometimes in the bathtub :-) I used to be a strong soprano but I think I am now an alto :-)

Sad about the people sleeping outside. I am glad the police do not allow that here. Nights like tonight anyone asleep outside would freeze to death .
