First Entry in 2018 - J Edward

I always tend to write too late at night. I know I have work early in the morning but I always get this burst of energy right as I am supposed to be going to bed, sometimes this is a good thing, and other times a nuisance but I guess I’d like to make something out of it. I should have gone to bed about an hour ago, but I saw a video on Facebook that made me want to write again, but this time, I wanted to share it. This first entry will probably be the least intriguing of them all, but perhaps thats normal. Today was interestingly boring, I barely did anything at all. I woke up at around 10:30 and ended up watching Netflix for a couple hours. After that I got ready for work. I worked around the house for a bit and headed out at around 1:20. I decided to visit a student of mine at the hospital and ended up getting to work late, but it was worth it. Honestly I could have skipped work entirely and everything would have gone fine. I texted Jen. Thought maybe we could hang out, only to realize that I didn’t even know if she was back yet. Surprise surprise, she was back. Didn’t even bother to let me know, and better yet, she leaves in the morning for Florida. Without me. I’m not bitter. This year is going to be different. 2016 sucked, and 2017 was even worse, but I’ve decided that no matter what 2018 is going to be better. Maybe I’ll write about my past.
