I feel like I only wrote in here when I was having an especially bad time in my life. Things have actually taken a turn for the better, so I figure it’s only fair that I document that here, as well.
I finally got a decent job and moved out of my dad’s house! I do public relations and content strategy for a media company. It’s running their social media, writing blog posts and articles, and other PR stuff. I had to move to Columbus, which is about 2.5 hours from Toledo.
The job and people I work with are really amazing. I lived with friends for the first month and then got my own apartment. It’s honestly been great!
I’ve also been dating someone for the last four months. I haven’t had a serious boyfriend in years. Here is a picture of us:
Overall, things are going really well. There are a few small issues. Money is tighter than it has been in a while because I pretty much had to spend all my savings to move down here and still had to charge a bunch of the apartment stuff. Also, I’m a bit rusty on relationship stuff so there’s a little anxiety there. Lastly, I do miss being so close to my family and friends. All that being said, my life has improved tremendously and I’m really happy that I made the move.
