Possible good news? in Diary

I had a phone call from the estate agent earlier. They said they’ve spoken to my buyer (FINALLY!) and he has only just got back from holiday! I knew he was going away on 17th October but didn’t realise he would be gone for this long. I still don’t know why he didn’t complete the purchase before he went away…but anyway, he said he does still want to buy the house and will contact his solicitor asap to arrange signing the contract! It’s too late for this month as my next mortgage payment goes out on Friday, but I’m just going to have to swallow that and, hopefully, it will be the last one! I’m trying not to get too excited until I get confirmation from my solicitor, but at least it’s looking like I won’t have to put it back on the market! Fingers crossed…

Hurrah! Fingers crossed it all gets done and dusted asap.
I suppose it would be a hassle to get him to pay for the extra month you had to cover all the house payments?

Yeah I can't be bothered lol, I just want it gone as quickly and easily as possible now. Hopefully the money I get from the sale will make up for it!
