I watched a movie tonight called That Awkward Moment. I really enjoyed it. I think there are some guys who could benefit from watching it. Maybe then they’d realize that life isn’t all about getting laid and moving onto the next one. It’s about being happy with yourself and finding the right one who helps and encourages you to be the best version of yourself.

I took JM to lunch with me on Sunday. Afterwards he met my mother briefly because I needed to swap vehicles because my dad was changing the oil in one of mine. She didn’t question him too much but she probably questioned my sister later. I went to drop him off after and his little sister was sitting on the front porch waiting for a friend to pick her up. She ran down and was all bouncy and was like “HIIIIII” to which I responded in kind and JM was just like “I hate you both.” He was super embarrassed and it was pretty funny. Then her friend got there and she got in the car but they didn’t pull away and so JM was like “Go on already” to them so they pulled up next to my SUV and I rolled down my window and they both yelled “HIIIII” again. It was really funny. After she left I told him he should bring her to the brewery on Tuesday. The place is family friendly and we play board or card games. He refused and I said “Ok then, I’ll tell K to tell your grandma to tell your sister she’s invited.” Because his grandma teaches K’s painting class on Mondays. Later that night when she got back, she told him that she thought I was pretty and funny because I went along with embarrassing him. Then he did tell her about the brewery, but then his parents were all like “we’re not invited?”. And his mom said “So your cousin and your sister get to meet your special friend but we don’t?” I felt a little bad for him, but it was kinda his own fault. So I guess we’ll see if he shows up tomorrow because he never texted me back today.

Getting better at ignoring F. Slowly trying to avoid V too. Chick has tagged him a couple times on fb in the past week. Sorry, you can’t have your cake and eat it too.
