*Wilma:* Temperatures have been over 100 F here the last couple of days. That’s not something I’m used to that’s for sure.

I’ve been browsing around trying to decide which is the best place to use for Thursday’s celebrations. Looks like it may be here with links to it from other spots.

We went out for a birthday lunch today with Willy’s friend, Susan. We went to a relatively new place called The Cooperage American Grille. It was lovely and cool, and the food wasn’t too bad either.

It’s going to take a bit to get used to this site, so please excuse any errors. At least the internet is working today. Yesterday was a nightmare which included our entry showing up on someone else’s diary.

I liked this so much, I copied it off Polly Nash’s site.

Willy: Ain’t it funny how time marches on? I was born June 12, 1014, and now, 100 years later, have made centenarian. Am in fit physical and mental condition and hope to have a few more years of happy living.

Preparations are underway…

Family have started to arrive. Daughter, Judy and great-grandson, Kayden arrived yesterday and so did nephew, Rick, his wife Terri and his kids Danny and Hannah. Bill’s grandson, Tim was just here setting up for the food tomorrow.

The weather is sunny and breezy which keeps it cool. We’ve been EATING! I expect when I get home I will have gained at least 5 pounds. Rick made the food – mostly Mexican – and it is yummy! We’re expecting another wave of guests around supper hour.

I’m in the process of making a slide show of some of the pictures we’ve taken so far. Some pictures, I hope...
