Wilma: It was a marvellous day yesterday. We had such a good time. How marvellous it was to be part of a family celebration of such a great family. We had about 40 family and friends and there are still people dropping in. One of the high points of the celebration was posters made by family members for each decade of Willy's life. They were quite amazing. I spent most of the day sitting in total frustration in front of the computer. I should have posted on here to begin with. What was also amazing were the stories Willy has told about the happenings in his life. WHAT A MEMORY THIS GUY HAS!!
Willy finds being on Facebook very confusing. I'm going to try to add some of the pictures that were posted by family members on Facebook into another slide show to put on here too. That will be a project for later today.
Tomorrow we are going to the Northern California Pirate Festival It should be lots of fun. Willy (aka Billy Bones) will surely be a feature of the event. He will surely have to be one of the oldest, if not THE oldest Sea Dog to attend the festival.
