Long Time in New Diary

It has been a long time since my last entry. Things have been going good. I have a new caregiver and she is the hardest worker I ever had. She lives in the same building and there is not a problem of missing work. Chocolatechip and I have been getting a long pretty good. We talked about getting married a couple months ago. But we are both on social security and disability. If we had gotten married they would have taken too much money away. We decided to just keep things the way they are. That way we can keep our checks

Don’t know if I mentioned this before but I am seeing a new doctor at Healthways. He put me on Visterol. This is for anxiety. I am supposed to take one every morning. as needed. I have been taking one every morning. That seems to be really helping with the anxiety. I am also on Celexa one tablet in the morning and Geodon one in the evening. So I am on three different psych meds. That seems like a lot but I could not function very well without them.

Holidays were good. For Thanksgiving Chocolatechip and I went down to the Senior Center for the annual Thanksgiving day dinner. We had a good meal and we even had some to take home. For Christmas Chocolatechip gave me a big plate of homemade cookies. She is a wonderful baker. I look forward to them every year. Also had a visit from one of my relatives. He had his girlfriend with him. We chatted for a few minutes promised to keep in touch but we never do. Still it was nice to see someone from the family for a change.

Also, Chocolatechip’s sister Elaine came up for a visit. We had a good time She gave her sister some nice presents for Christmas and her birthday. Then we went out. We went to Goodwill. I bought a a much needed pair of pants. I must have lost a lot of weight because I can fit into a size 46. Then we went to Bob Evans for dinner and lunch. Elaine treated us to dinner and we all had hamburgers and fries. Then we went to Wal Mart. I bought a can of Maxwell House. I also bought Chocolatechip and extra Christmas present. I bought her a blood pressure monitor.

I am afraid my finances are all screwed up because of the holidays. My Nook was started to go bad on me. So I bought a new Nook from Barnes and Noble. I also charged Chocolatechip’s Christmas presents on my card. To make matters worse I charged an extra carton of deans and the coffee bought at Wall Mart . I owe a total of $587.39 on my credit card. This has been causing a lot of anxiety which is why I’ve been taking anxiety pills every morning.

I have the budget all figured out . When I get my Social Security Check I will pay $398 on the credit card. This will bring it down to $189.39 I will set aside a hundred dollars so I can make an extra payment in February. Depending on interest and finance charges I figure I will have that paid off in two months. I will still have enough money for groceries and everything else I need in January. I should be ok if I can stick to the plan,. This means no subs and no book purchases for a few months.

Well things are going good. I will try to write an entry every day for now.
