#1 - Chain Messages in Occasional Venting

So, while not the most prominent frustration in my life, I’ve gotta say that chain messages are pretty high on my list of pet peeves.

We’ve all either gotten or come across these bee-ess texts that tell you to either
a) pass this message on to (integer value) friends
or
b) DO NOT STOP READING THIS NOW THAT YOU HAVE STARTED

Both types of messages give you some paranormal/sob story or conspiracy theory; for what reason, I still cannot fathom (really, what are the instigators gaining from these?).

And aside from being an absolute annoyance, the writers of these messages seem to lack basic writing skills. Seriously, I haven’t gotten or read a single one of these that weren’t at least one-third spelling errors, never mind grammar.

Honestly, if you actually wanted to convince me that whatever out-the-arse story you want me to pass on is real, try making it look like it’s a real bloody thing? It would at least make it less of a pain to skim through before I condemn it to several scoffs and deletion.
