Three little words. in It's a Suhaila!

Goodness, I’m really slack about writing aren’t I?! Can’t believe it’s almost three weeks since I last wrote in here.

I’ve been busy busy busy - going full steam ahead with my open university degree, I have exams coming up just after Christmas which will be the point I would have been studying for almost a whole year - it doesn’t seem like it!

The three little words. “I love you.” They probably have more meaning and power than anything else. Especially when it’s your little girl who says them to you. She’s not been well this week, been bunged up with cold the poor little angel that she is. Last night I had her in my room while I finished up a maths assignment for uni - and when I looked around she was there in my bed absolutely fast asleep. I didn’t have the heart to move her or wake her, so I just let her sleep there and cuddled up with her last night. And waking up this morning she said those three words to me.

So I did what I could only do as a mother who adores her little girl… I said the same words back to her.
