Hump Day, No Grump Day in These Foolish Things

Long time no write, eh?

I’m in the office for a little less than an hour and then I have to spend allllll day with my staff, taking them offsite to visit retailers. I’m NOT looking forward to the car chatter with Negative C. and her nemesis Easy E. (she’s actually wonderful, but she and Neg. C. hate each other with a passion, so they bicker like children). And I also adore the other team member, who is very quiet and chimes in only when necessary.

Going to be interesting, for sure. I’m trying to keep a positive attitude - I LOVE getting out of the office. And I’m the boss so I get to say where we go and how long we spend at each location, and I’m going to add in some inspirational places as well that are off our typical beaten path, so it will be nice.

Just need to map out our plan in the next 30 minutes.

Let’s see, what’s new?

It’s been a busy week already at work - so busy that all I want to do is go home and go to bed after work. On Monday, I practically did just that. Went home, ate a quick dinner, walked the dog and was in bed by 8. Last night I got home, walked the dogs with Athena (exhausting because my dog wanted to show off and bark at every living thing we encountered), and went to bed.

Sleep has felt so luxurious and delicious lately. I crave it. I can’t get enough of it.

Eating has been fine - no added sugars, low carbs, barely any alcohol.

Workouts every morning make me feel absolutely accomplished at the beginning of the day!

Gratitude every morning before working out - writing down 3 things each morning starts the day off with a positive note. Wish it could stay that way once I get to the office! I’m trying.

Better roll. I wish I had some juice to give you. Maybe I’ll have some for you tomorrow - I have a secret dinner with someone tonight.
